It is performed on one of mainly daily routines for Mula Virat in Tirumala. It is performed in Unkal Mandapam and these mandapam is located in eastern corner of Main Tirumla Temple.
Meaning of Sahasra Deepalankarana means in centre of Ujal Mandapam priests should lit thousands of Lamps and in this seva both idols and his wifes are participated in possession and in this priests chants their mantras, annamaya sankirthanas and group dances will be held. After completion of these seva these idols are taken to outside and roam in their respective streets and after completion of these they will be placed inside of Ujal Mandapam.

To attend these Seva dress code is compulsory and all the employees of Tirumala Tirupati Devesthanam will check their dress of piligrims thoroughly at each and every point. For men they should wear Kurta Pajama/ pancha and Dhothi. For women they should wear Half saree/ full saree with blouse,Punjabi or Chudidhar and Dupatta is allowed.

All people should gather at Ujal mandapam sharply at 5.00 PM and seva will exactly start at 5.30 PM to 6.00 PM
People should gather in Queue to avoid rushing and pulling at time of seva

One ticket is available for only one person and each person should bring these ticket along with his ID-card and cost of ticket is exactly 200/- INR.
